Muskan graduated with a Honours Degree in Psychology and is a dedicated and compassionate psychology professional with extensive experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay (GDD). She brings a strong foundation in evidence-based assessment and intervention, combined with a warm, child-centred therapeutic approach that prioritises collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Muskan has worked as an Associate Psychologist in a family-centred early intervention setting, where she conducted comprehensive pre- and post-intervention assessments using standardised tools such as the Brigance IED III. Her role involved translating assessment findings into meaningful, individualised intervention goals tailored to each child’s developmental profile. She is experienced in implementing Naturalistic Developmental Behavioural Interventions (NDBIs) and conducting structured one-to-one social- communication sessions designed to strengthen joint attention, expressive and receptive language, play skills, emotional regulation, and adaptive functioning.
In her clinical work, Muskan emphasises building strong therapeutic rapport with children through attuned interactions, play-based engagement, and developmentally appropriate scaffolding. She believes that progress occurs most effectively when children feel safe, understood, and supported. Her sessions integrate behavioural principles with developmental frameworks, ensuring that skill acquisition is both functional and generalisable across settings.
A key strength Muskan brings to the Autism Therapist role is her commitment to caregiver empowerment. She regularly conducts caregiver feedback sessions, equipping parents with practical strategies to support skill generalisation at home. She values transparency, psychoeducation, and collaborative goal-setting, recognising caregivers as essential partners in the intervention process.
Beyond direct clinical work, Muskan has research experience in personality, psychopathology, and child psychology labs, where she was involved in data collection, statistical analysis, and manuscript preparation. This background strengthens her ability to apply data-driven decision-making to clinical practice and to monitor intervention outcomes systematically.
Muskan is deeply motivated by a desire to support children in developing confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in their daily environments. She approaches her work with empathy, professionalism, and a strong ethical grounding. Her long-term goal is to continue advancing her clinical expertise in autism intervention while contributing to high-quality, evidence-based services for children and families.
