Ling holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from the University of Bangor, UK; and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Leeds, UK. Ling is a member of Association for Behaviour Analysis International (ABAI). She completed her Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) course from the Beck Institute in 2018 and she is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology. Her research interests are mainly in Restricted and Repetitive Behaviours in Autism, Executive Functions, Emotion Regulation, and Automatic Measurement for Repetitive Behaviour with Machine Learning. Ling was included as one of the successful people by British Publishing House and her biography was published in the Britishpedia Encyclopaedia in March 2020. She is currently part of the supervisory team for AutismSTEP Singapore, the faculty member of Behaviour Momentum India (BMI) and the advisory board for Autism Academy (Pakistan). Ling also holds an advisory role for Behaviour Express (BE) Association and Malaysian Certified Behaviour Analyst Association (MCBAA).
Ling has more than 10 years of experience in the area of Autism and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She gained valuable experiences within the field of ABA in the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Ling often talked in organizations, schools and universities, spreading word of Applied Behaviour Analysis and the importance of getting the credential to facilitate the delivery of proper, high quality services that help clients improve, in line with the first ethical principle of Behaviour Analysis – to do no harm. She is skilled in a range of therapeutic techniques, Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Behaviour Intervention Plan (BIP), assessment and program implementation for a wide range of difficulties such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning and behavioural difficulties.
