Ai Peng graduated from NUS with a Honours Degree in Psychology. Throughout this educational journey, she has gained valuable insights into the application of psychology in special education, child development, and child psychopathology through modules such as Autism Spectrum and Related Conditions and Mental Health and Distress in Children.
She started her career in a care centre, assisting and guiding a diverse group of children, including those with special needs, in their academic and extracurricular programs. She was also required to engage children in the classroom and one-to-one settings in the home environment. Having encountered situations involving students with emotional and behavioral issues, she is aspired to deepen her involvement to enhance her expertise and address these diverse challenges
Ai Peng is deeply passionate about intervention and therapy services and committed to make a meaningful contribution for children with special needs. Recognizing that each child’s situation is unique, she understands that empathy is crucial in resonating with the diverse needs and challenges they face. Additionally, it is essential to maintain resilience and a calm demeanor.
