Desiree is currently pursue her degree in psychology. She started her career in the social service since 2020. During her working career, she has worked with critical and sensitive cases and also in a Special Education School (SPED) in Singapore.
In her previous role as an educator in a SPED school, she had the privilege of collaborating closely with educators to develop and implement tailored strategies that facilitated positive behavior management and created optimal learning settings for students. By actively participating in the planning of individualized goals and objectives, she ensured that each child received personalized attention and support, leading to their academic and personal growth.
One of her key strengths lies in her ability to collect and analyze data to gain insights into the children’s profile, enabling her to monitor both their learning progress and behavioral developments. By meticulously tracking this information, she assisted other educators in refining their instructional approaches, thus maximizing the effectiveness of the interventions and ensuring that each child received the targeted support they needed to thrive.
