Drawn by their endearing qualities and potential, Yvonne’s interest for working with special needs children was sparked by her earlier exposure working with them during her undergraduate days. After obtaining her honours degree in Psychology, she worked as a special needs educator before embarking on a career in behavioural intervention for children with varying learning needs.
To Yvonne, every child has a beautiful mind and can grow up to be successful, independent adults with appropriate support. Driven and meticulous, she continuously strives to make learning meaningful and interesting for every child she works with through a strong child-therapist rapport and creative teaching approaches.
To date, Yvonne’s positive demeanour has enabled her to help many special needs children overcome their individual challenges with positive learning outcomes.
