Fatima Shaker is a half Singaporean, half Iraqi. She grew up in Oregon and Abu Dhabi, as well as attended university in Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences.
She has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting their developmental, behavioral, and social growth through individualized care and evidence-based approaches. Her experience has strengthened her ability to build meaningful connections with children and families while creating supportive and engaging learning environments.
Her passion for this field is deeply personal, as she has a younger sister on the autism spectrum who inspired her to pursue this career path. Watching her grow up taught her the importance of patience, empathy, and understanding from an early age. These experiences continue to shape the way she approaches her work, allowing her to connect with children and their families with compassion, dedication, and a genuine commitment to helping each child reach their full potential.
