Sri graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Communication. She has done specialized coursework in Child Psychopathology, Clinical Psychology, and Psychoanalysis. She also has extensive research experience leading a research project on ‘Time Management among students’, using SPSS for comprehensive data analysis to examine behavioral patterns and generate insights on student productivity trends. She is also trained in clinical skills including DSM-5 diagnostic training, biopsychosocial report writing, behavior management planning, and statistical analysis using SPSS/JASP.
What truly drives her passion for the field of special needs is her extensive hands-on experience working with diverse populations requiring specialized support. Some of her experiences, includes supporting advocacy initiatives for individuals with disabilities, working directly with 75+ deaf and mute participants to promote inclusion and reduce stigma, served as a befriender at a residential camp for children with chronic illnesses including ASD, developing skills in reading non-verbal cues and building relationships with 50+ participants and working in psychiatric care settings, providing recreational support to residents and gaining valuable exposure to mental health treatment environments.
