Praveena graduated with a degree in Psychology and is a passionate and dedicated behavioral therapist with many years of hands-on experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). As a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), She has applied the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) across a variety of settings including homes, therapy centers, and mainstream schools. Her journey has been enriched through roles as an Senior Therapist, Interventionist, and RBT, where she has supported children through individualized education programs (IEPs), conducted skill assessments, facilitated group sessions, and collaborated closely with families and professionals.
Each step in her professional journey has been an opportunity to deepen her knowledge and growth. With a strong commitment to lifelong learning, she progressed from being an RBT to completing her QASP-S certification. This growth reflects her dedication to providing high-quality support to neurodiverse individuals and continually improving my practice.
Her experiences includes implementing behavior intervention plans, tracking progress through direct observation and data collection, and utilizing play-based and structured teaching strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. She has actively participated in case conferences and professional development to stay updated with best practices.
