Noor graduated with a Degree in Psychology & Education and furthered her education in Postgraduate Diploma of Science in Child & Family Psychology. Since her graduation, she worked at Schools where she had the opportunity to work alongside neurodivergent children from toddlers to twenty-one years old. Most of the students she worked with are mainly diagnosed with Autism, with some having comorbid diagnoses such as with ADHD, OCD, ODD and Angelman Syndrome.
Noor worked alongside specialist teachers for her day-to-day activities / curriculum and would have regular meetings with them to review student’s IEP goals as well as their behaviours where she would contribute to the implementation of the student’s behavioural plans. Understanding a child’s behaviour is vital for a smooth operation.
Apart from work, Noor enjoys hobbies such as listening to music which she finds helpful after a day’s work and watching movies with family or friends. She likes the outdoors, by exploring the various walking tracks that are available in Singapore. She also enjoy playing board games and occasionally doing some sports during her free time.
