Josephine graduated with a diploma in Special Needs Education and Masters of Education. She has always been drawn to supporting children with diverse learning needs, and she is highly passionate about contributing meaningfully to their development and well-being. With a background in Special Education, she brings both personal motivation and relevant experience to this role.
She has previously worked with children in both one-on-one and group settings, including those with neurodiverse profiles and challenging behaviours. In these roles, she supported children in regulating their behaviour and frequently collaborated with school-based behaviour interventionists and counsellors. She also had to observe and implement structured play interventions while learning to adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
What drives Josephine most is the chance to empower children and help them achieve independence, no matter how small the step. She values being part of a child’s progress, whether it’s learning to express a need, complete a task, or regulate behaviour. It is deeply fulfilling to know that her work can improve not just the child’s life, but also the lives of the people around.
