Lester graduated from NUS (National University of Singapore) with a degree in psychology.
His first exposure to the idea of autism was in his Primary School. His school was beside Pathlight School and staffs came over to introduce Pathlight and autism. Fast forward to now, He has developed a strong interest in helping persons with autism.
He started his career as an educator in a EIPIC centre and later move on to private organization, both working with children with autism.
Outside of working with children, Lester sees himself as a people-person. He generally love talking to people and hearing their stories. He also have a great deal of empathy. He always try to put himself in others’ shoes and he believes that his empathy helps him build strong relationships with people. He believes this has enabled him to be a good team player.
