Amirah graduated with a degree in psychology, magna cum laude. Academically, she attended multiple diploma and undergraduate courses covering Autism, its symptoms, assessment and intervention.
Professionally, she is experienced in psychological settings such as the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and Special Education Schools for children with Autism. She has conducted classroom observations using the antecedent-behaviour-consequence (ABC) model for students demonstrating socio-behavioural issues. Further, she has conducted intake assessments for new students using literacy, numeracy, and fine/gross motor psychometric tests. Amirah finds herself enthusiastic to work with such individuals and is passionate about learning and intervention.
